Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the existing quantity department in managing all contractual and financial aspects of the project, to ensure cost management, under the supervision and the guidelines given by the Quantity Manager.

 

The position is likely to suit a dynamic team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage documentation.
  • Site supervision, incl. preparation of quantity measurements.
  • Develop excel tabulations.
  • Use Auto-CAD in day-to-day.
  • Aid in administration of main contracts and subcontracts.
  • Review control and budgeting.


Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering/Quantity Surveying.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in construction is an advantage. 
  • Experience using SAP and STR Vision is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Experience with Italian and Danish is an advantage.

  • Good organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Motivated to help yourself and the company improve.
  • A strong sense for problem solving.
  • Experience using diverse administrative programmes.

 

About Køge Hospital Project Team I/S (KHPT):
KHPT is a joint venture between Itinera and CMB, two Italian companies with experience in building hospitals.

The Køge Hospital Project is an expansion of the already existing University Hospital in Køge, which will include a complete renovation. When the renovation is complete, it will open to extended special departments, along with new departments for research, which will gather Zealand University Hospital under one single roof. When the work is finished the hospital will be 195.000 sq.m.
